Henry Fowler III Born 4/10/1633 Where Hambleton, Rutland, England Married Where Died Where Spouse Rebecca Newell Henry married Rebecca Newell, daughter of Abraham Newell and Frances (?), before 4 June 1655 at the home of Joshua Foote, Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island. They were married without a license. On 4 June 1655, Henry was "warned of court to answer for his marriage without due publishment." His explanation of his in ability to obtain a license was on account of "ye division of ye towne" in regard to some of the town business, won for him a remission. He & the town were reputed by Roger Williams. (1)
